it has been a while since i posted. i am now in grade 1 @ SV primary. i am still training judo and have a half yellow belt now.  swimming is progressing well. i have stopped soccer. doing chess as well as pottery at school. Had a camp out with dad at the school which was not as bad as dad thought it was going to be!. i have discovered minecraft !!  went to PE with dad to visit granny and grandpa by plane.
. Had a ball.  Went down Maitland river mouth sand dunes on dad's old sand board.  got a few mouthfuls of sand in the process as well!  went on the mini trains at stella londt which was fun.
my brother and sister were born on 30 May 2014.  Thomas weighed  2.7kg   . Ava was a bit smaller at 2.18. mom and the kids are coming home today  2 june . i have had to give up my old playroom for them to sleep in but dad is busy turning the tower upstairs into a playroom  for me. or so he says!! all for now.

i flew down to pe with dad. He was going to sasa congress.  sat in a window seat behind the wing and really enjoyed the flight. Dad explained to me how aeroplanes fly. spent the weekend with granny and grandpa.  had a blast. Went on the model trains as it was the first weekend in March.enjoyed that. Flew back to Cape Town on the monday. WE all went down to Still Bay for a week over the Easter week. Had a nice time  playing on the beach, building sand castles etc . drove to jongensfontein. Met Gerry Mars and tried to go to Blombos Cave. Got chased back from there by 2 packs of rabid tortoises on the gravel road. Only lost them on the last corner on the tar after dad employed evasive manouvres. Practised my casting in the river.
I am now attending The Hill school in grade R. Judo is coming along, still swimming well and improving . Have discovered bad piggies and angry birds.!! Am playing cricket with dad in the garden. On Sunday 5 May 2013 I drove my bicycle unaided and without trainer wheels for the first time.

Am enjoying judo. youmgest member in the class , so taking a bit of a pounding but just you wait a few years as it looks like i am going to be bigger than all of them!

. might start swimming somewhere else as coach cant find more time for me and 15 minutes a week just does not seem enough. might start additional coaching/practice on tues.  Am enrolled @ The Hill next year for Grade R. thereafter who knows....... back at school now for final term with teacher Sharon.  Mom and Dad are helping me learn to ride my bike properly. dad has taken off the training wheels .About a month and we will be off for holiday.

went to Struis Baai for the weekend with mom and dad. had a great time. climbed the Tower of Fire ( Aghulhas Light house ) with dad, weather a bit bad so no fishing . gale force winds 35 knots west,

came back home on mon via Arniston. Skipped the Cave of Doom......... next time!

its been a while!
i started traing judo about 6 weeks ago and am loving it! dad bought me a gi which i like. i ask mom to get me dressed @ 16h00 already for 17h00 training!
i was awarded a gold medal last week for best technique!

on monday( 2 days ago) i was the first person in my school to write my name on the chalk board perfectly!
i am enrolled @ the Hill school next year for grade R . went for my interview yesterday I am going for swimming lessons twice a week now and soccer practice on Friday afternoons

busy busy busy.Flew to PE for grand dad's 85 birthday. Sat by the window and really enjoyed the flight.Mom and Dad came with. We spent Easter weekend with granny and grandpa . dad fished on Saturday with uncle Howard and caught some nice hake. Braaied twice , went to the yacht club for Sunday lunch and back home on Monday. Enjoyed by all. My swimming is steadily improving . I am now attending school 5 days a week and seems to be going well.Caesar bit Tiger and needed 6 or 7 stitches which dad did. Mom has found me some stencils to draw with which i enjoy. Much better than colouring in etc I have christened Sheba "grumpy".

Had my 4th birthday the other day. lot of fun. granny ,grandpa , ouma and oupa were there as well as a lot of other young people. i crashed my blue bike and lost my top front tooth so will have a cape town smile for a few years. am improving a lot with my swimming . dad came to watch after not being for a while and was very impressed as i can do the length of the pool.i went to Newlands rugby with mom and da for the first time on saturday and had a great time. we have a new puppy as well .......Caesar, a dobermann with a tail. I am still enjoying school 3 times a week my vocabulary is improving although i still struggle with my s ,v and f

we had a nice holiday in e cape 5 days haga haga then st francis with 2 nights in pe. Weather not so good for fishing but otherwise good. I am now back at school 3 days a week . not yet at boarding school but dad says if i keep nagging mom i might get lucky! Swimming starts this week but had to miss out as dad's car in the workshop for repair. I am "doing lots of deals " with mama and dad, 2 more minutes play before bathtime etc. Other catch phrases currently include " a race against time, stop in the name of Plod" . Dad's vege garden is coming on nicely, fruit trees have taken nicely , had a good carrot crop, mielies looking good but the onions not as well as hoped for. Dad says he needs to run a hosepipe down via the borehole system. Should not be too expensive but ....... We are probably going to drive down for granny's birthday in March.

it's been a while since my last post. we have all been very busy so far this year. dad has been busy in the garden, planted 3 orange trees, a clementine, an avocado tree, peach and another lemon as well as a pomegranate! also a fig tree carrots , onions and beans, corn
had to transplant the peach after 3 months as the new foliage on the plane trees made it think winter had arrived and it started becoming dormant thus meaning it would never bear fruit as it would not know what season it was. bit of a mission!we are all going to haga haga via pe next fri for 5 days then csf for a few more , 10 days off in total.tiger nearly caught a hadedah the other day, dad had to catch it and take it to the world of birds.......... apparently concussed. tiger just kept running over it as not sure what to do with it! dad is busy stripping the paint of the balcony balustrade , so can repaint then put in flower boxes with climbing jasmine.big job. dad also aquired for himself a partner's desk courtesy the taxman! i am tinkering with dad's old keyboard and having great fun. got a new stand up scooter yesterday as i am a bit big for my black bike now but still not too keen on the "proper bike' i got for my birthday. i know my abc' s as well as all the months and am currently learning do ray me.... i often sing songs with daddy at bedtime. my swimming has improved remarkably in the last 3 months. i am virtually diving into the water and have no problem putting my head under the water. dad came with yesterday and took some videos. hopefully this camera wont get stolen like the last one! i am still mad about trains and enjoy watching steam train video clips with dad on the " puta" i have pinched some of dad's old calculators and use them respectively as my wallet, my "puta" and the last one to fly my aeroplane by remote control. red button is to start my engine!
had a soft serve ice cream yesterday from kfc and gave it the thumbs up ' very good' , face full of ice cream!

its been along time since my last post! Daddy has been very busy. We moved to a bigger house. Dad had to paint the old house , fix the roof , skirting boards etc. Moved on 1 august with some help from gavin ,mark z , roy and headman. Got burgled on 18 august! Seemed like an inside job via the area security company. Managed to recover the mazda as well as dads briefcase and wallet . (its a loong story) . Unfortunately lost the video camera with all my footage on since birth. (software problem on the canon hg10) Dad had just managed to get the software after nearly a year fight with canon and was going to download after the move!! Anyway we have now settled in. New alarm system upgrade.Ridgeback.additional security upgrades and few more planned. Quite a bit of repair work done since moved in and a small lawsuit planned for the previous owners. Went to Cape St Francis in jan and going again in April .Dad is going to come with this time! Had a great time playing in the rock pools with "my Billy". Had races down the driveway with billy on our black scooters. I am now 1.05 m tall and weigh 17kg. I am still going to swimming classes with Bronwyn, playschool twice a week and am talking like crazy since December.I am doing lots of art stuff, sticking , drawing , colouring at my table. We have a grey cat now, official name Gandalf , but i have christened him Myami. Tiger is very protective of me and even protects me from cousin Billy. Daddy has fixed his old bicycle for me and i just need to grow a little first. I like to watch ICE on dvd as well as PANDA (ice age 1 or 2 and kungfu panda)

I went for my booster shot 2 weeks ago and am still on the 97th percentile for age. 88 cm and 14 kg. I have popped out about 4-5 more molars. Swimming is improving in leaps and bounds. I get in and out by myself, can monkey walk around tho outside and am starting to attempt short distances by myself. I sleep right through now . I help dad to weed the garden as well as watering the plants with my watering can. We all went down to Port Elizabeth to visit granny , grandpa and uncle Howard. After 4 days we went to the Transkei to Bull's inn @ Mbolompo for a week , then Kob Inn for a few days . I had great fun . Played in the river and on the beach, saw lots of cows , donkeys , dogs, sheep and goats. Dad only caught a turtle and a shark so I never saw any big fish , but I liked the little ones that he caught for live bait. We also went to the Hole-in the- Wall in the TK. Dad carried me all the way from the carpark behind the hotel. We stopped off in PE again on the way back. I also go to Kindermusik which I like a lot . I am starting to draw pictures with crayons. I point out the moon and the stars at night .

Hi there. I am nearly 16 months old. Still only 8 teeth. I seem to be favouring my left hand for tasks. Am still growing like a weed. Tried to copy the cat and eat grass in the garden the other day . Mom nearly fell over laughing. Like to water the lavender and the lawn. Have started to kick the soccer ball and not just pick it up with my hands. Love the rugby balls dad got me. Still not quite tall enough to work my scooter properly yet. Xmas nearly here .

I went to the clinic today for my MMR shot . Not one sqeak when the nurse jabbed me! I weigh 13.5 kg and am 85 cm tall. This puts me on the 97th percentile for age. Swimming was fun tonight and I am starting to enjoy it a lot. I water the garden for dad where he has shown me to water and shout out " HE HE ' and point to the sky when the helicopters come over.Still only the 4 top and 4 bottom teeth but I have been sleeping so badly lately that Mom and Dad are sure there are more on the way. Yesterday I allowed Dad to feel for my back molars, then I bit him which I thought was very funny. Dad was not amused!

I am one week shy of 15 months now . I weigh 13 kg's , having lost a bit of weight when i was sick/teething last week. Mom bought me a pillow for my head and I have finally worked out how it works. At first I thought it was for throwing Daddy with! I am going to swimming lessons twice a week now which is much better . Am getting quite good in the water. I still go to moms and tots which is fun. I went with mom and dad to be shown around a school this week. Western Province prep. Looked like fun. Everybody commented on my shoes. I was wearing dad's first pair , brown leather. Boy did I look smart! I still only say "mum" and 'dad" regularly ,the rest is gibberish to everbody except myself, but I understand everything other people tell me. I like carrying logs from the fireplace around the garden. Half -bricks are nice too. I have been watching a bit of telly lately and prefer watching CeeBeebies. Anyway all for now , must dash.

wow I have been busy. I went to Namibia flyfishing for yellowfish on the Orange river. We had a great weekend. Dad got a puncture in the new car . No sooner were we back and we went to Struis baai with Piet for the weekend . Georg, Kami , Sunil and his family were all there as well. Dad caught a small sandshark.

We have just got back from 2 weeks in the eastern cape . We spent some time at St Francis Bay and also went through to Port Elizabeth. I am now almost able to run. Stairs are no longer a problem and I am starting to try them forwards instead of backwards! I now try to feed myself with a fork. Very messy! I had a great time at the sea. Mom caught me trying to eat the little creatures in the rock pools , also licking everything due to the salty taste. I had a great time with trevor and craig's children especially Christie and Kelsey. I am 13.5 months old and weigh 12.8 kg. I discovered lots of new foods on holiday including tomatoes , popcorn, lentils ,kidney beans ,prawns and calamari. As you can see I had a big Pooh Bear birthday cake. Mom and dad taught me how to blow out the candle 2 weeks before.

It is 5 days before my birthday. My 5th tooth has finally popped out. Mom has a new car and now I can see much better when we go for a drive as I am higher up. Unfortunately the throb from the diesel engine usually puts me to sleep almost immediately. Smimming lessons are now twice a week and soon I am going to go to Moms and Tots so I can start enrolling members for my gang! We went to visit Ouma and Oupa and saw the snow on the mountains . Brrrr cold.
